| |  Building a Stronger, Faster You
Performance Speed School is a comprehensive sports training and conditioning program. Our unified team of Strength & Conditioning Coaches, Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists and Personal Trainers will develop a sports specific training program designed to increase an athlete's speed, agility, strength, and coordination. By emphasizing these fundamental components, we guarantee to improve an athletes performance on the playing field by creating a stronger, faster you.
Some elements of our program include dynamic warm up drills, stationary and dynamic field drills, plyometrics, core stabilization, injury prevention, total body conditioning and strengthening, team building and cool down stretches. We utilize many training tools to assist in achieving our goals such as: speed ladders, hurdles, power cords, med balls, crazy-z balls, bullet belts, agility rings and dept boxes. Performance Speed School would like to congratulate the KR Baseball players and coaches on their successful completion of a 12 week program. Our team wishes them the best of luck in their '10 season, we know they will be steps ahead of the competition! Performance Speed School is also looking forward to showing our Townie Pride. We will be working on in-season and off-season strength and conditioning for the athletes at East Providence High School this Winter/Spring season.

Athletic Training Performance Physical Therapy's athletic training services aim to provide the best care for student athletes that participate in extra-curicular activities. This is done through physical conditioning, injury prevention, immediate on-field care, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. With proper preventative measures, most injuries can be avoided and an athlete's performance can reach new heights. Such examples of prevention include: educating individuals abouts risks associated with participation to minimize risk of injury, inspecting standard protective equipment and enviornmental conditions daily, applying appropriate protective measures using commercial products and/or custom made devices, implementing appropriate programs for physical conditioning, and promoting sound physical and nutritional practices. Performance Physical Therapy is proud of their partnerships with Lincoln School and East Providence High School in working to build strong, confident and scuccessful athletes.
