Dr. Amy Sullivan PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Amy Sullivan has worked with Performance Physical Therapy since 2016 as a physical therapist at the Smithfield location, and she is also a partner. Dr. Sullivan received both a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University. Amy has gone on to earn certifications in dry needling, and manual therapy from Evidence in Motion. Dr. Sullivan is also a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
She specializes in general and post-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, general health, and fitness, and has served as a clinical mentor for physical therapy students.
Dr. Sullivan enjoys spending time with her family, and friends, and she also loves to travel – while in physical therapy school, she took the time to study abroad in Ireland.
She gives her patients three pieces of advice: Eat healthy, sleep and move. Remember, she says, “exercise is medicine.”
