Briana Pina ATC
Briana Pina joined Performance Physical Therapy as a Certified Athletic Trainer in 2017. Pina attended the University of Southern Maine and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2017. Since then, she has focused on treating high school and college-aged athletes with emergency care, and injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation.
Pina had the opportunity to work with the Division I football team at the University of Main Orono, Division III Baseball, Men’s Ice hockey, Men’s and Women’s Indoor and Outdoor track and field, Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Field Hockey. Pina is currently a certified athletic trainer at North Kingstown High School.
In her free time, Pina has gotten the chance to volunteer at the Maine Marathon, Special Olympics Maine, and Partners for World Health. You can also catch her reading a good Jodie Picoult book, working out, or cheering on the Boston Red Sox!
She advises everyone to continue doing what you love and always stay active and move every day, “Stretching is the most important part of every workout”.
