Dr. Danielle Parent PT, DPT, LATC
Dr. Danielle Parent PT, DPT, LATC started working at Performance in 2019 at our Seekonk, MA clinic located inside of Won Sports. She joined after earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from the University of New England in 2009 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island in 2012.
Danielle was unsure about what she wanted to go to college for, so she shadowed people in professions she was interested in. She ended up enjoying both Athletic Training and Physical Therapy the most, so she went to school for both.
Dr. Parent’s hobbies cooking, reading, crochet, golfing, skiing, and snowshoeing. She loves going to New England Revolution games with her husband and participating in pick-up games of field hockey.
Dr. Parent added certification in Parkinson's Disease rehabilitation through LSVT BIG and volunteered at Rock Steady Boxing in Pawtucket. Every year she and her family puts together a team to walk the RIAPDA Race Walk and Roll for Parkinson's Disease.
Dr. Parent worked with the National Cheerleading Association and National Dance Alliance as an Athletic Trainer while in school for Physical therapy and was able to travel the Northeast region with this opportunity. She enjoys traveling nationally and internationally and tries to plan at least one trip per year to explore a new area with her husband.
