Dr. Geoffrey Phaneuf PT, DPT
Dr. Geoffrey PhaneufPT, DPT joined Performance Physical Therapy in 2019 as a physical therapist at our Providence and East Providence clinics. Dr. Phaneuf joined the team after earning a bachelor’s in behavioral Neuroscience from Connecticut College in 2014 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island in 2017.
While in school, Dr. Phaneuf participated in a broadening Experience in Guatemala for two weeks, working with pediatric patients in a clinic as well as home visits with their families. Through his broadening experience and time in school, Dr. Phaneuf has come to enjoy working with patients of diverse backgrounds and has experience working with pediatric, geriatric, orthopedic and neurologic patient populations.
Dr. Phaneuf became a physical therapist because he loves to problem solve and help people become more active, leading them to a healthier lifestyle.
In high school and college, Dr. Phaneuf was a track and field athlete. In his free time, he enjoys the Hamilton Soundtrack, home-brewing beer, playing Foosball, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
