Gregory Doucette MSPT, OCS
Greg Doucette, MSPT, OCS, who started with Performance Physical Therapy in 2013, is a partner, physical therapist, and the clinic director at our Warwick location. Doucette has both an undergraduate degree in Health Science Studies (’04) and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy (’06) from Quinnipiac University. He is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, an American Physical Therapy Association member is currently serving as a RIAPTA Board Member, and he is certified in functional dry needling.
Doucette specializes in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, functional dry needling, post-operative and total joint rehabilitation, and rehabilitation of the knee, shoulder, and spine. With years of clinical experience, Doucette is passionate about patient education and the importance of core stability for sound functional movement.
Doucette is a soccer fan, rooting for the US team and West Ham United of the English Premier League. He spends his free time playing basketball, soccer, and golf and spending time with his wife Dana, and their two boys, Alex and Connor. The Doucette's are season ticket holders for Quinnipiac basketball and return to campus frequently to support their alma mater.
Doucette advises his patients to walk and take the stairs when possible, to get physical therapy when it’s needed, and to have good posture. “Good posture,” he says, “can cure a lot of what ails you.”
