Jared Ferreira ATC, LAT, CSCS
Jarred Ferreira, ATC, LAT, CSCS has worked with Performance Physical Therapy since 2016 as an athletic trainer. Although primarily working at Bishop Feehan High School, Jared also spends time helping patients at the Attleboro clinic.
Ferreira earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and sports medicine from Bridgewater State University in 2016. He went on to become a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and Licenced Athletic Trainer (LAT). He has certifications in First Responder CPR, AED, and First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens, and has completed Heads Up to Clinicians Concussion Training. In 2018, he became a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS).
Ferreira loves working to get athletes better, faster, and help prevent injuries from happening in the first place. He's confident rehabbing sports injuries, providing injury prevention, emergency care, and first aid. He is also well-versed in concussion testing, taping and bracing, biomechanical analysis, equipment fitting, strength and conditioning, and fitness training and testing.
Ferreira has worked as an athletic trainer with several sports teams, including the rugby and football teams at Johnson & Wales. He's also completed clinical internships in college included Boston College High School, New Bedford High School, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and Stonehill College. Ferreira is both a NATA and RIATA member.
In his free time, he loves snowboarding, watching the Boston/New England pro sports teams and action/drama TV shows, and spending time with friends and family.
