Jennifer Gallant MS, ATC, LAT
Jennifer Gallant, MS, LAT, ATC is an Athletic Trainer who works with the Lincoln School in Providence and our East Providence clinic. As an athlete in high school, she was impressed with how much the local athletic trainer and physical therapists helped other athletes get back to 100%. Her amazement with the impact they had on her and her teammates inspired her to pursue a career in Athletic Training to help people in the same way.
The athletic training program at Lincoln School, which Jennifer heads, was one of the first programs in Rhode Island to receive the 1st Team Safe School Sport award. Her ongoing work at Lincoln includes the development of exercise programs to help improve performance, education for injury prevention, and overall promotion of health for female athletes in addition to an Emergency Action Plan.
She sits on the board of the Rhode Island Athletic Training Association as the Secondary School Committee Chair. In addition, she has volunteered to organize a Performance Physical Therapy team for the Rhode Island Walk like MADD in honor of her friend and colleague, Ellynn Koelsch since 2017.
When she’s not in the clinic or on the sidelines, she enjoys trying new recipes and spending quality time with her husband, Jeff, her son, Jackson, her daughter, Julia, and their cat, Kirk.
