Kevin Silvia PTA, CSCS, FMS-C
Kevin Silvia, PTA, BS, CSCS, has worked with Performance Physical Therapy since 2003 as a Physical Therapy Assistant position at the Pawtucket location. He received an undergraduate degree in Human Health from URI and a physical therapy assistant degree from CCRI. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, of which he is also a member.
Silvia specializes in sports injuries, treatment, and prevention, and excels at working with athletes, children and adolescents. He is a clinical instructor for high school physical therapy assistant students.
Silvia co-founded and was previously director of the Performance Speed School, which is a comprehensive sports training and conditioning program for athletes. He served on the volunteer committee for the 1st Annual Performance 5K Road Race. Previously, Silvia founded and directed a state-wide fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, through which he helped raise $23,000 over five years.
Silvia spends his time away from the clinic biking, hiking, shooting, and spending time outside. He also loves to strength train and cross train and enjoys mixed martial arts. Silvia reminds his patients always stay hydrated, stay positive and stay moving: “ Find a career you love and you will never work a day in your life! “ he says.
