Clinic Director Dr. Lauren Macera is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in orthopedics, spine, sports-related injuries, headaches, aquatics, balance & falls, and hockey. While attending URI, she traveled to Guatemala twice to help rehabilitate adults and children with various neurological disabilities.

When she’s not in the clinic, you might find her running, relaxing by the beach, playing with her dog, hiking, or listening to music. She also serves on the board of the Lead the Way program and has volunteered with events throughout her community, including numerous 5k races.
