Dr. Leah Katsos, DPT
Dr. Leah Katsos, PT, DPT, has worked with Performance Physical Therapy since 2019 as a physical therapist at our Pawtucket location.
Dr. Katsos joined the Division street team after earning a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2012 and then her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2019. She wanted to become a physical therapist to help people feel empowered to live their best life, and not be limited by physical, mental, or emotional ailments.
While earning her Doctorate, Dr. Katsos had a clinical affiliation in outpatient orthopedics in South Carolina in 2017, a clinical affiliation in outpatient pelvic health in New England in 2019 and received level I training from Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute for treatment of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction in 2018.
She also directed a health and wellness program focusing on nutrition, exercise, and mental resiliency to high-risk teens in New York City from 2012-2014, utilizing a holistic approach to health. Dr. Katsos went on to spend the next 5 years working in outpatient physical therapy as an exercise technician and in administration, 2014-2019. These experiences led to her clinical expertise in orthopedics and pelvic floor dysfunction.
In her free time, Dr. Katsos loves to practice yoga; go for long walks in the woods, find new places to hike, and play the piano.
