Michael Silva MSPT, CSCS

Michael Silva is a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics, sports-related injuries, and running. He also serves as Performance’s Development Director/Project Manager. As his time in competitive athletics slowed down, he found his passion in bringing holistic health to his existing exercise routine including strength training, yoga, meditation, biking, paddle boarding, and running.
Throughout his 20 years as the owner of FOUNDATIONperformance Sports Medicine, Mike has spoken nationally at several conferences including The Running Event, The Boston Marathon Expo, Trimania Summit, and The US All-Star Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Clinic. He has also been published in the Rhode Island Medical Journal for his work called “Foundational Health for Runners: Is it the Key to Minimizing Injury?”
In his free time, Mike enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, two dogs, and two kids. Although he loves to cook, he admits that he prefers eating to cooking. He is also a drummer and plays with a group regularly.
