Pat Sturdahl, BS, EP-C, has worked with Performance Physical Therapy since 2013 as an exercise specialist at the Providence location. He has a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Rhode Island. He’s a certified Exercise Physiologist through ACSM. In college, Sturdahl was selected twice to the Region 21 Men's College Basketball All-Star Team, representing the Community College of Rhode Island. He was among the top 15 players in the nation in steals sophomore year.
Sturdahl specializes in working with athletes, specifically through sport-specific rehabilitation and injury prevention screening. Sturdahl helped to organize and plan the first Performance Physical Therapy golf tournament.
Outside of work, Sturdahl enjoys staying active. He loves to golf, play in basketball leagues and run -- he completed a half marathon and a 24-hour Ragnar Relay Race with his Performance colleagues in 2017.
The advice he gives to patients is stay moving and make your activity enjoyable.
