Dr. Sidra Ethier DPT
Dr. Sidra Ethier, DPT, has worked for Performance Physical Therapy’s Pawtucket Location since 2018. Dr. Ethier earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies in 2016 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018, both from Boston University’s 6 year accelerated program.
In 2014, Dr. Ethier had the opportunity to study abroad in Australia where she interned at a pediatric physical therapy clinic that specialized in treating patients with cerebral palsy. In college, Dr. Ethier also played on and coached the Boston University Women's Club Soccer Team from 2012-2018.
Dr. Ethier is a proud member of the APTA and has a Clinical Expertise in orthopedics, post-operative rehabilitation, fall and balance prevention for the geriatric population, and was an instructor of an older adult exercise class at the Blackstone Community Center in Massachusetts as part of Doctorate Practicum Project.
In her free time, Dr. Ethier loves to exercise, play sports, and spend time at her family's lake house kayaking and paddle boarding. Her advice to you is to make movement fun, stay hydrated, and smile, “it releases endorphins”.
