Dr. Tyler Foster
Dr. Tyler Foster, DPT, has worked with Performance Physical Therapy since 2016 as a physical therapist at our Smithfield location. She received an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Ithaca College and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Boston University. During his time at Boston University, he spent two years volunteering as a coach for the club soccer team. He has also spent three weeks in Cape Town, South Africa as a volunteer.
Since graduating, Dr. Foster has earned a certification in dry needling. He is currently in an Evidence in Motion’s orthopedic residency program and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He has expertise in general and post-surgical orthopedics as well as in treating sports injuries.
He stays active by hiking, kayaking, playing soccer and basketball, as well as boxing and kickboxing. If he’s not doing one of these things or in the clinic, you’ll likely find him watching a Celtics or Arsenal game.
