Dr. Yvonne Swanson DPT, OCS

Dr. Yvonne Swanson is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in orthopedics, sports injuries, back and neck pain, manual therapy, headaches, TMJ, foot and ankle biomechanics, and trigger point dry needling. She is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and serves as Performance's Compliance Officer and a Regional Director for the southern area of Rhode Island.
She serves as a clinical instructor to physical therapy students and is an advisor and educator to local athletes and coaches. She has presented on professionalism for the University of Rhode Island doctoral program and has been a guest lecturer for the RI National Guard Retiree Association. Yvonne serves as the Chair of the Payment Committee for the RI Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and also serves as a member of APTA's National Private Practice Sections Policy and Payment Committee.
When Yvonne isn't treating patients or troubleshooting clinical and compliance challenges, she enjoys spending time with her 3 boys, gardening, jogging, snowboarding, and basically anything outdoors!
