Performance PT in East Providence, specifically Dr. Lindsey Harris changed my life! I had orthopedic neck surgery at the end of March 2020 so the bulk of my post-op PT was virtual. Dr. Harris was patient, attentive, responsive, and so helpful! The exercises we were able to do virtually helped me develop a regimen I was able to easily maintain on my own between our appointments. She’s able to easily identify your weak areas to help you pay attention so you keep good form and recover as best as possible. When I went for my 2 month post-op appointment with my surgeon, he rated my recovery an “A+”! This would not have been possible without Performance PT, Dr. Harris, and the awesome telehealth program.

This is a new experience for everyone. I had great anxiety after my rotator cuff surgery. I knew that I would need some extensive therapy to get my mobility back in my shoulder and could not fathom how telehealth would meet my needs. I am very pleased with the service that I am receiving ! Erin is supporting my at home program and is able to offer suggestions and demonstrate PT that helps me move forward in my recovery. She is very knowledgeable and keeps my doctor up to date with my progress. A very important component to physical therapy is emotional support . Yes this can work on line! You can do it! Yes it hurts ! It will get better! Look what we have accomplished ! Thanks Erin you are saving me during this world of crazy!

My PT at Seekonk PPT was interrupted because of travel in February and then Covid in March. I called Performance PT in Seekonk in April because I knew I needed some input. Dr. Kayla Barrett returned my call. We spoke at length on the phone and she subsequently emailed me the information we had discussed. I was able to copy the exercises and thus had a routine of stretches to help my issues. It was so helpful. She took her time, listened, reassured me, and formulated a plan. I expect to continue with our phone calls for as long as it takes for me to feel comfortable again. I am grateful that I have the resource of the phone calls. Thank you Seekonk PPT!

Telehealth has allowed me to continue rehabbing my knee in the safety of my home during this trying time. Danielle has been fantastic as always, listening to my concerns, and coming up with exercises on the spot to target them. She is able to demonstrate the exercises effectively using this platform and in doing so I am able to continue with my physical therapy journey successfully.

I had switched to the telehealth PT once Covid-19 hit RI. Leah is my Physical Therapist and she is AWESOME. It seemed like the telehealth option would be awkward or difficult, but it turned out to be a great experience. Leah was still able to help me via video conference and I was able to continue the therapy I needed to improve my shoulder injury right from home. She is a terrific coach and support during a physically and emotionally stressful time. I cannot say enough about how she has helped me! Thanks so much to PPT for being forward thinkers and getting this opportunity out there for their patients without skipping a beat.

Crises like what we all are experiencing during this Coronavirus brings out the best and, sadly, worst of people. Well in the case of Performance Physical Therapy, I cannot say how impressed I am with their creative ways in keeping my PT going even during the shelter at home order is in place. Thank you for the virtual counseling sessions with Nicole Coogan that makes it possible to continue improving. Having recently moved to Richmond and reading reviews about the various PT facilities, PPT received outstanding reviews. Now as a client I can understand why. Be safe and healthy until the world returns to normal.
