Dr. Alex Linde DPT
Dr. Alex Linde, DPT joined the Performance team in 2019 as a physical therapist at the Woonsocket location. Dr. Linde earned his B.S in Exercise Physiology in 2015 and went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018 both from the University of Vermont. After school, Dr. Linde went on to work as an acute care physical therapist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston where he worked with patients who have multiple comorbidities and helped them transition into exercise programs to promote healthy lifestyles.
In his time at school, Dr. Linde had the opportunity to volunteer for Vermont Stay Steady, where he assisted in the development of screening tools and interventions to identify and reduce fall risk in community-dwelling elders. Now, he has a clinical expertise in patients' status- post total joint replacement surgery and patients with complex medical histories.
Dr. Linde decided to become a physical therapist because of his love for sports, exercise, medicine, and health sciences. "Physical therapy allows me to combine all of my interests and help people in a meaningful way" he shared.
As a semi-obsessive gym-goer and aspiring beach bum, and avid fisher and kayaker, you always know where to find Dr. Linde on his days off.
